Our purpose is to provide high quality outdoor education. During their stay at Woodlands every individual will have fun learning about themselves, working with others and gain new skills in the outdoor environment.
We aim to do this through adventurous challenges using the fantastic local mountains, caves and rivers. By caring for the centre and the outdoor venues we use, we promote a sustainable approach to resources.
Feedback from course organisers and students
"An amazing week! The children have now gelled as a year group gaining a wide variety of skills they may not encounter elsewhere, however the four main focus areas will transfer brilliantly into the classroom. Thank you!"

I didn't think I would enjoy it but by the end of the week I didn't want to leave! My group were amazing - they encouraged me to do everything. I loved the activities especially wild camping in the mountains and seeing the stars. Thanks for a trip of a lifetime!
Lizzy Brooks, Year 10
"The activities gave everyone the skills, attitudes and values to address personal issues and to learn how to be tolerant of differences, and raised awareness of abilities and barriers which stop young people from reaching their full potential in life. Great experiences - we want to come back again!
